Machine Operator Trainee
Join an esteemed Tool and Die Training Academy and embark on a journey to become a skilled Tool & Die Maker and CNC Machinist. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start from scratch and gain comprehensive training in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
Responsibilities
- Participate in extensive training to become proficient in CNC machining and Tool & Die making.
- Engage in hands-on learning experiences with CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Develop a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Essential Skills
- Mechanical inclination
- Desire to learn CNC machining and Tool & Die trades
- Basic math and computer skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machines, blueprints, and GD&T is preferred
- Strong desire to learn about aerospace applications

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irwindale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
