The Specialty Unit Staff RN in the ICU provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This part-time night position is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in a critical care environment.

• Department/Unit: ICU - Coronary Care Unit
• Schedule: Part-time, Night shift

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to workplace safety principles.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Registered Nurse License (California)

• 1-year recent experience in Critical Care or completion of a KP Critical Care course within the last 12 months

• Current Registered Nurse License in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
