About This Role

The Sp Unit Staff RN in the PACU provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

• Pay: $70 - $96/hour
• Location: Baldwin Park, CA
• Facility: Baldwin Park Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Practice customer service standards as defined by the organization.

Education:

• N/A

Experience:

• 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in PACU or Critical Care, or successful completion of a KP PACU course or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
