Census Data Entry/Insurance Verification Clerk
Job Type: Full-time
- Monday– Friday
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Input Daily Census
- Updateauthorizations for HMO’s
- Insuranceverification
- Data Entry of Lab, Xray, Pharmacy invoices
- Working knowledge of Medical billing and Insurance coverages
- Communication with Admissions dept and Billing dept regarding Payer changes
- Familiar with Epaces, NGS Connex, Availity
- High Efficiency using Excel
- Attention to Detail
- Experience in the Medical Billing field required, Nursing Home Billing preferred.
- Sendingcommunications to patients/families
- Filing& Scanning
Skills:
- Computer Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a must
- Confidencetalking on the phone to patients and insurance representatives
- Goodwriting skills
- Abilityto multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without gettingdistracted
- Self-starterbut able to work on a team and take direction
