J&E Plumbing and Heating of LI is looking for a skilled Plumbing Foreman / Field Supervisor to take the lead on a wide range of commercial and residential projects. This is a high-level, strategic role focused more on leadership and planning than physical labor. You’ll be responsible for laying out jobs, setting and maintaining work standards, managing punch lists, coordinating materials, checking in with crews, estimating small jobs, and triaging light service work.

KeyResponsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate multi-site plumbing jobs (retail, restaurants, commercial, residential)
Lay out plumbing systems and set quality standards for field teams
Lead punch list completion and ensure quality assurance
Conduct daily crew check-ins and field oversight
Estimate small jobs and assist in material takeoffs and coordination
Triage and delegate light service tasks (e.g., baseboard heat, boilers; no AC)
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and professional project delivery
Maintain a strong customer-facing presence with clean, professional communication
Experience in new construction plumbing, rough-ins, and layout (commercial preferred)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and hold crews to high standards
Excellent communication and coordination abilities with both clients and internal teams
Ability to read blueprints and job specs for efficient planning and execution
Comfortable estimating and managing smaller jobs across multiple sites
Professional appearance and demeanor are essential for this client-facing role
Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
Compensation: $45–$60/hr based on experience
