Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on manufacturing. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in finance and accounting in multinational company for the job of Branch Controller. The job is based in Balikpapan, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:- Direct report to Business Controller
- Direct report to Senior Manager Business Controller
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Developing and managing the commercial budget, providing regular forecasts, and monitoring performance against targets.
- Analyzing sales and margin performance, identifying trends, and explaining variances.
- Working closely with commercial teams (sales, marketing, etc.) to provide financial guidance and support, participating in business reviews, and offering insights on customer profitability and margin optimization.
- Ensuring adequate credit management, monitoring receivables, and proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulations, and participating in internal and external audits.
- Reviewing commercial contracts to ensure they align with company policies and mitigate financial risks.
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with
- At least 10 years' experience in treasury, in multinational company
- Strong exposure in Financial Planning & Analysis
- Familiar with SAP system and application
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve performance.
- Understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, collaborate with other departments, and build strong working relationships.
- Familiarity with accounting software and business intelligence tools.
- Open to be based in Balikpapan
