Chief Financial Officer

An Australian Industrial Company that operates throughout Indonesia, parts of Asian and Australia is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Controller (CFO) for its Indonesian subsidiary to be based in Balikpapan.

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, audit coordination, and strategic financial planning.

Requirements of the position are:

Internationally recognised certification in Accounting or Finance Experience as the Accountant of an Industrial Company working in multi currencies

Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting functions

Experience with debtor control and collections within the Indonesian mining sector

Experience with capital raising and financial analyses of investment opportunities

Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place for the Accounting / Administration of Techenomics

Responsible for the production of financial models for critical investments and projects

Production of the consolidated monthly financial report in a timely manner

Routine finance reporting to the board of directors

Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations

Develop and improve internal controls, financial processes and reporting systems

Oversee consolidation reporting and intercompany reconciliations

Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members

Support business operations and management decision making with accurate financial data

Control of Cashflow and Treasury

Other financial matters that arise from time to time

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance

Experience in consolidation reporting and intercompany reconciliation

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage

Experience in mining, trading, or multinational companies is preferred
