Special Education Aide

Ballston Spa Central School District has multiple vacancies for Special Education Aides at the secondary level. This role involves collaborating with teachers, teaching assistants, and staff in both self-contained and general education settings, and may include working directly with a specific student. This position provides assistance to students throughout the day, which includes implementing behavior plans and redirecting students to keep them focused on tasks.

This role also involves managing daily living and personal care needs, such as potentially assisting with toileting, feeding, and ensuring student safety through constant supervision across all school environments. Additionally, this position supports implementing IEP goals and help students navigate both general education and self-contained settings.
