Join HAWK DRILLING CO INC as a Well Pump Installer Assistant and be part of a dedicated team in Ballston Spa, NY. This exciting opportunity allows you to work hands-on in the field, assisting skilled professionals in providing top-notch well pump installation services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial well pumps.
- Help troubleshoot and repair existing well pump systems.
- Support the team in performing site assessments and preparing equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status.
- Document daily work activities and report any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction or plumbing is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
- Basic knowledge of well pump systems is advantageous.
