Gullion Brasserie is the estates on site restaurant where guests can dine the finest farm-to-fork ingredients in the relaxed brasserie setting, boasting only the best of the seasons flavours. This is a full-time, on-site role at Killeavy Castle Estate.
The Reception Manager will oversee smooth front-of-house operations, including managing receptionist duties, coordinating schedules, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role involves supervising and mentoring the reception team, handling guest inquiries and complaints, managing bookings and reservations, and maintaining the highest standards of organisation and efficiency.
Job Requirements- Maintain the highest degree of service across front office operations
- Extensive knowledge of the Hotsoft PMS platform
- Manage front office team, ensuring staff provide a professional and warm welcome to all guests
- Conduct training with front office staff on an ongoing basis
- Collate and deliver accurate reports on all aspects of reception on request from senior management
- Actively manage and develop the Reception team including the day and night porterage department
- To have a thorough understanding of all requirements of the check in/out process (confirm booking, length of stay, packages, etc.)
- Handle all guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure all cash, guest charges, floats and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy
