Guildford area | Work within ~70-mile radius

£300-£400 per day | 2-3 days per week initially

Strong potential to increase to full-time

Winberry is currently partnering with a well-established electrical and renewable installations business to recruit a senior, on-the-tools electrician for an exciting freelance opportunity. This is an ideal role for a highly qualified professional seeking consistent work while retaining the flexibility to take on other projects.

• Work on high-end residential properties with technically advanced installations
• Projects include solar PV, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and integrated energy solutions
• Exposure to large and bespoke installs, not repetitive site work
• Join a quality-driven team that prioritises workmanship over volume
• Opportunity to act as the Nominated Technical Person, enhancing your professional profile
• Genuine pathway to more regular or full-time work as demand grows

• Freelance position starting at 2-3 days per week with flexibility required for team-based installs
• Primarily residential projects with some commercial work
• Must be comfortable working independently, problem-solving on-site, and maintaining high professional standards
• Expected to provide own tools and deliver tidy, customer-facing work

• BS7671 - 18th Edition
• Inspection & Testing
• Level 3 core electrical qualification
• Level 3 awards in Solar PV, EV Charging, and Electrical Energy Storage
• Able to provide certification to support Nominated Technical Person status

• Senior electrician who is actively “on the tools” (not purely supervisory)
• Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
• Professional with strong customer-facing skills
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality installations
