Maintenance Operative

The Role Intelligent Maintenance Ltd is recruiting full-time Maintenance Operatives to join our expanding facilities management team. This role operates within a live, year-round hospitality and commercial environment. Reliability, professionalism and standards are critical. You will focus on general building fabric repairs, reactive maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance tasks. Specialist trades (electrical, plumbing, major joinery) are delivered by approved subcontractors your role is to manage and complete day-to-day maintenance efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a structured 4 on / 3 off shift pattern, working 8:00am - 5:00pm, including weekend rotation.

Key Responsibilities Carry out general building fabric repairs Painting and decorating touch-ups Complete planned preventative maintenance schedules Respond to reactive maintenance tasks via FM software system Maintain accurate job records using mobile device Assist specialist subcontractors when required Ensure high presentation standards in guest-facing environments Follow all health & safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate 35 years experience in general maintenance or facilities roles Experience in hotel or customer-facing environments desirable Practical, reliable and solution-focused Comfortable using digital job management systems Professional manner and well-presented Able to work independently within a structured team Full UK driving licence This role is not suited to someone seeking site-based trade-only work. Working Pattern & Pay 34 hours per week / 8:00am - 5:00pm 4 on / 3 off rota Weekend work included on shift rotation Flat hourly rate across rota
