About you Proven experience as a professional mechanic, ideally within a fleet or plant maintenance environment Strong knowledge of vehicle inspection, servicing, and repairs Skilled in diagnostic techniques including computer-based diagnostics Ability to assess bodywork issues and advise on repairs Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics A valid driving licence suitable for working within a fleet environment What you'll do Thoroughly examine and inspect vehicles and equipment, reporting findings and making recommendations Service, repair, and prepare vehicles for PSV/MOT testing in accordance with safety regulations Conduct routine repairs and major services on grounds maintenance equipment Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend improvements to enhance safety and reliability Assess and carry out bodywork repairs where necessary Recover broken-down vehicles using safe, proper techniques to minimise further damage Fabricate simple component parts as needed using appropriate tools and materials Ensure parts are correctly identified to enable timely ordering, reducing operational downtime For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact Cian France for a confidential chat today.
