Our client is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician looking for a stable, long-term role with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and routine safety checks.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Criteria
- Previous experience working as a HGV Mechanic or similar vehicle technician role.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
What's On
Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Monday to Friday working pattern between 8am to 6pm
- Overtime opportunities.
