Senior Tax Accountant

Overview

A private investment office is seeking an experienced Accountant to support partnership tax compliance and accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate and investment entities. This role offers broad exposure across tax, accounting, and reporting in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

• Support preparation and coordination of partnership tax returns (Form 1065)
• Assist with K-1s, allocation schedules, and capital account tracking
• Maintain accurate books and records for real estate entities
• Manage depreciation schedules, fixed assets, and related support
• Partner with external tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate filings
• Assist with financial reporting, tax projections, and lender/investor requests

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting and/or private real estate accounting
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting and taxation
• Experience supporting Form 1065 and K-1 reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

• CPA or CPA-eligible
• Experience with multi-entity structures and commercial real estate
• Exposure to multi-state filings and real estate depreciation concepts
