Sr. Accountant

Overview

Support financial reporting, fund accounting, and services for venture capital funds and clients. This role reports to a Senior Accounting Manager and involves daily accounting operations, client service, and support for tax and estate planning.

• Prepare journal entries, quarterly financial statements, and audit support schedules
• Manage cash flow needs and maintain accurate financial records
• Develop a strong understanding of client financial profiles, including trusts and related entities
• Handle bill pay, payroll monitoring, insurance tracking, and investment activity
• Create and maintain financial statements in Quick Books; perform consolidations
• Prepare materials for tax filings and ensure organized document retention
• Complete customized reporting, cash flow projections, and ad-hoc accounting projects
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask under pressure with excellent attention to detail
• Strong client-service mindset and ability to work independently or in a team
• Effective project management and ability to manage multiple clients

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years in public accounting, fund accounting, family office, or fund operations
