Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries

• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Support budgeting and financial reporting activities

• Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with nonprofit standards

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience a plus)

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
