Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is looking to grow within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with audits, including preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting
- Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience (internships considered)
- Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
