Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our team is working with a leading building materials company in the Frederick, CO area to support the Accounts Receivable department with AR & cash collections. This is a great team with a values driven culture that enjoys having fun and supporting each other, while getting the job done!

• Own the collections process and accelerate cash collections
• Manage customer aging reports and prioritize collection activities
• Reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow
• Build relationships with builders, contractors, and customers
• Conduct proactive outreach and collection calls

• Analyze AR trends and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop master database of customer payment terms

• Support invoice processing and AP operations as needed

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections experience
• Experience reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Proven success improving cash flow through aggressive but professional collections efforts
• Experience managing customer payment terms, collections strategies, aging reports, and account reconciliation
• Experience working with construction, building products, home services, manufacturing, distribution, or project-based industries
• Experience utilizing accounting systems and reporting tools

• Construction, custom home builder, building materials, stone, flooring, cabinetry, or related industry experience
• Accounts Payable experience
• Purchasing or procurement background
• Experience negotiating vendor terms and payment arrangements
