OverviewWe are seeking a candidate that is resourceful, determined, and strong for an immediate opening. This permanent employment opportunity is with a company based in the Baltimore, MD area.
Responsibilities- Review business and individual returns, and prepare complex returns as needed.
- Must be able and willing to develop staff.
- CPA with 6+ years of tax accounting experience in a public accounting firm.
- Experience reviewing and preparing 1040, corporate, partnership, estate and trust, and multistate returns.
- Strong tax research skills.
- Master's in Taxation or willingness to obtain (GMA paid).
- Experience with Pro Systems Engagement and Pro Systems FX is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Willingness to train and mentor staff.
- Strong work ethic.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal client relations skills.
- Great attitude and willingness to deliver excellent client service.
- Ability to work tax season hours between January and April 15th, including some weekend hours.
