Accounts Receivable Clerk
Our accounting office in Towson, MD is now hiring a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our largest automotive dealership group, Heritage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reconciles service and parts deposits and customer vehicle purchase receipts, and all credit cards on a daily basis
- Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger
- Prepares and reconciles accounts receivable statements monthly
- Answers accounts receivable phone calls and emails on invoice inquiries
- Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management
Qualifications:
- High School or GED required
- Ability to calculate figures and apply mathematical concepts
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and cash handling
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence
- Self-Starter with ability to maintain high level of customer service.
- Able to work in team environment
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills
- Clear communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
