Accounts Receivable Clerk | Heritage Autogroup

Job Description Our accounting office in Towson, MD is now hiring a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our largest automotive dealership group, Heritage.

Job Responsibilities:

Reconciles service and parts deposits and customer vehicle purchase receipts, and all credit cards on a daily basis

Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger

Prepares and reconciles accounts receivable statements monthly

Answers accounts receivable phone calls and emails on invoice inquiries

Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management

Qualifications:

High School or GED required

Ability to calculate figures and apply mathematical concepts

Experience with Accounts Receivable and cash handling

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence

Self-Starter with ability to maintain high level of customer service.

Able to work in team environment

Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills

Clear communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
