Job Description Summary
Serve as a subject‑matter expert within the Global Consolidation and Corporate Reporting organization, performing accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis activities. Apply accounting knowledge, professional judgement, and analytical expertise to support the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated financial reporting while contributing to process improvements and reporting initiatives.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation in accordance with established reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate, and complete reporting of financial information.
- Support accounting and reporting activities related to investments in subsidiaries and other legal entities through the preparation of analyses, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and elimination entries.
- Perform analyses of consolidated financial results and communicate key observations, trends, risks, and issues to management.
- Maintain reporting instructions, reporting documentation, and supporting process materials.
- Execute control activities supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Eight years of experience, including at least one year with a relevant degree.
- In‑depth knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Advanced computer skills.
- CPA and/or progress toward professional certification.
- Experience with in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidation, or accounting close processes.
- Experience working with large financial reporting systems and data sets.
Hybrid assignment: in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; occasional travel.
CompensationSalary range: $108,000 – $135,000 annually, with potential for annual bonus based on company performance.
