Position Overview
The Accountant and Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping activities. This individual will also provide limited support related to HR administration and employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Generate and manage customer invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
- Provide limited support with employee benefits administration and HR-related tasks
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
- Proficiency with Quick Books required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
