Accounts Receivable Specialist

Now Hiring: AR Billing Specialist | Joppa, MD

I'm partnering with a growing company in the construction industry that is looking for an AR Billing Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, project teams, and accounting while owning the billing process from project setup through final invoicing. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely billing and will work closely with Project Managers, Business Development Managers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage the billing process from project setup through invoicing
• Set up customers within the ERP system
• Verify tax information and customer billing requirements
• Generate and submit customer invoices, including through customer portals
• Coordinate monthly billing activities
• Partner with Project Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and customers

• Billing or accounting experience in construction, modular construction, manufacturing, equipment rental, or another project-based industry
• Experience working in an accounting ERP system (any ERP is welcome)
• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills
• The ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and work independently after training
