Senior Accountant

Our client is a fast-growing industrial manufacturer with a mission-critical product line serving markets like data centers. Revenue has nearly doubled in recent years and is projected to grow several times over. This is a high-bar hire for a company scaling fast.

Newly repurposed position focused on modernizing and automating the billing function, replacing a long-tenured retiring specialist rather than replicating the old role. Reports to the Accounting Manager

• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition and cutoff testing for month-end and quarter-end close
• Process and automate customer billing, reducing manual touchpoints
• Reconcile and settle commission expense and customer rebate program
• Analyze warranty reserve trends and prepare quarterly roll-forwards
• Support sales/use tax filings and customer tax exemption compliance
• Support internal and external audits, plus annual SOX testing
• Partner with IT, Sales, and Customer Service to drive billing automation

• 3–6 years of accounting experience
• Corporate/industry/mixed background preferred over straight public accounting
• Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally outside of finance
• Forward-thinking about Excel and systems tools
• Revenue recognition, commissions, or rebate experience a plus
