Responsibilities:

• Review Job Costing to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Compare actual performance with anticipated results, making necessary financial amendments as required.
• Compile audit paperwork when needed.
• Examine periodic job cost reports, spot check cost activities, create budgets and semi-annual forecasts, and discern variances.
• Communicate with project managers to troubleshoot issues and enhance decision-making process.
• Manage and direct the operations of the accounting team, serving as a mentor to develop their abilities and foster professional progression.
• Work alongside project management to gather estimates and distribute prompt monitoring reports to project managers and other corporate leaders.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, firm policies, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee a reliable internal control system.
