Position Duties
Assistant Manager, Financial Compliance Audits (FCA):
Assists the Section Manager in managing the overall operations of the newly formed FCA team by providing support to Supervisors, assisting in the development of new programs, guiding the training lead, monitoring production, and handling personnel matters.
Assistant Manager, Tax Investigation:
Assists the Section Manager in managing the overall operations of Post Audit, Manual RAR and the Manual NF teams by providing support to the Unit Manager and Supervisors assigned to the Tax Investigations (TI) Unit. Duties include assisting auditors with complex tax questions, assisting supervisors in selecting new audit types, reviewing reports to determine if criminal audit cases should be recommended for prosecution, serving as supervisor to the Criminal Investor assigned to the unit, and assisting with the production schedule for Automated Programs processed for the Individual Nexus Unit.
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
Six years of professional work experience in auditing, accounting, tax law, senior management, or customer service. Four of those years must have involved supervising professional revenue administrators, accountants, auditors, or providing legal advice requiring interpretation of tax laws, or having been in a responsible administrative or management capacity.
