Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our General Accounting Cash Team. As one of the nation's leading providers of senior living communities, Erickson employs 17,000 team members serving more than 30,000 residents across 11 states and growing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, collaborative, and analytical professional looking to grow their accounting career. In this role, you will prepare journal entries, perform account analyses and bank reconciliations, support the month-end close process, and assist with audits. You will also have opportunities to contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that drive efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance accounting operations.

$70,000 - 80,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus
How you will make an impact- Contribute to the monthly close process, ensuring all reporting deliverables are completed on schedule
- Prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare monthly and quarterly work papers, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve accounting issues
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits
- Take ownership of your work and seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Minimum of 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills
- Experience with a general ledger system
- Experience with Blackline or other reconciliation software a plus
