- Support public filings of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Handle accounting for stock compensation, pensions, derivatives, purchase accounting, goodwill and intangible impairment assessments, cash flow, footnotes, and ad hoc filing requests
- Lead projects and supervise the work of other team members
- Coordinate projects between groups to improve accuracy and process efficiency
- Administer and interpret accounting policies and analyses in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare accounting conclusions, memos, journal entries, policies, schedules, exhibits, and summaries
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Compile and analyze financial information, perform calculations, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, resolve issues, and tie out public filing information
- Conduct process overviews and recommend improvements to accounting operations, including training plans, implementation, and strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Typically, eight (8) years of accounting experience or six (6) years of public accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- US Citizenship is required
- CPA preferred
- Experience auditing a public client or working for a public company within corporate accounting highly preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in finance and accounting relational databases:
Costpoint, Cognos, HFM, and Blackline - Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to perform data extraction and manipulation, analyze financial data, and generate reports
- Ability to analyze forecast vs actual, quarter-over-quarter, and year-over-year variances
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated AI fluency and experience integrating AI tools into workflows
- Ability to evaluate and apply emerging AI-enabled technologies responsibly
Demonstrates extensive experience in accounting practices, including public filings, GAAP compliance, and financial analysis. Proficient in leading projects, supervising teams, and implementing process improvements while leveraging AI technologies for enhanced operational efficiency.
