Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Baltimore. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis.

• Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate or related industries.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Competitive salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 + bonus
• Employees are paid on a biweekly basis.
