Senior Accountant - Baltimore, MD

About the Company and Overview of the Senior Accountant Role:

• CFS is partnering with a repeat client, a non-profit healthcare organization located in the heart of Baltimore City that provides healthcare services to low income, underserved areas. They are currently looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team on a contract to hire basis
• Schedule:
  
  8am-4:30pm M-F. Position is 100% in office in Baltimore city
• Reports to the Controller

• Perform analysis, reconciliation, and maintenance of general ledger accounts
• Perform credit card and patient revenue reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of budgets with guidance from Controller
• Perform account analysis and month end close activities
• Oversee cash management activities on a strict, deadline driven, time-sensitive basis

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience required
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Healthcare industry experience a plus, but not required
• Experience using Oracle Net Suite a plus
• Intermediate Excel experience required; knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, etc.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen as well as provide general vaccination records (covid, flu, etc.)
