Baltimore, MD/ In-office 5 days/week
Salary: $75,000 base salary
Our client, a well-known privately-held construction company in Baltimore, MD is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to their growing team! This Bookkeeper provides administrative and financial support to the project management team within a construction and manufacturing environment. This role reports directly to the Assistant Controller and works closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

- Serve as a liaison between project management, accounting, and external stakeholders
- Prepare, submit, and track change orders and RFIs
- Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly pay applications
- Monitor and update project budgets, forecasts, and cost projections
- Support invoice processing and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
- Provide ongoing administrative and financial support to Project Managers
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping or project coordination experience
- Construction and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Procore, Sage, or similar software
