As the Administrative Assistant sitting at the front desk with this finance firm in Maryland, you will be the first person to interact with guests, clients, and staff in-person and over the phone. The ideal professional possesses warmth in their communication style, eagerness in helping others and general care towards creating a positive lasting first impression. The Assistant will facilitate office workflow by supporting fellow administrative colleagues with support to the leadership team, manage conference room scheduling and preparation, and complete special projects start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate busy phone lines for the front office, greet guests upon arrival, and serve as a general gatekeeper with the public.
  • Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and coordinate team meetings.
  • Maintain a clean, professionally presented shared office space, including organizing conference rooms and stocking supplies.
  • Provide general office administrative support, assist with planning office events, and coordinate meetings.
  • Act as an extension of the administrative team, provide coverage for Executive Assistants to the leadership team, finalize expense reporting needs and any ad hoc requested support.
  • Take on special project initiatives and research tasks.
