The University of Maryland School of Social Work is seeking a full‑time Research Project Coordinator or Senior Research Project Coordinator to support the Workplace PROSPER program, an interdisciplinary initiative focused on public health, workforce well‑being, and harm reduction.
This role is responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day implementation of a Maryland Department of Health–funded ACCESS grant, including workplace overdose prevention training, naloxone distribution, employer outreach, and operational tracking. The position works closely with faculty, community organizations, employers, and public health partners to support program delivery and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Through these activities, the role advances the School of Social Work’s mission to improve community health and promote evidence‑based, socially responsive interventions across workplace and community settings.

- Coordinate day‑to‑day operational activities for workplace overdose prevention, ACCESS grant implementation, and ORP‑related initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and program logistics.
- Manage and maintain naloxone inventory systems, including tracking, kit assembly workflows, replenishment, and related documentation.
- Implement and coordinate training logistics and delivery, including overdose prevention, naloxone administration, workplace mental health, and harm reduction education.
- Develop and support employer and community partner engagement through outreach, communication, and ongoing worksite relationship management.
- Conduct worksite visits and follow‑up activities to assess readiness, distribute resources, gather feedback, and support implementation.
- Prepare and maintain operational tracking systems and enter data using Microsoft 365, REDCap, and related platforms to support reporting and compliance.
- Develop and update workplace resource guides and coordinate with community‑based organizations to maintain accurate service information.
- Assist and support broader Workplace PROSPER initiatives, including recovery‑friendly workplace activities, stigma reduction, and workforce well‑being projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Independently manage day‑to‑day operational activities for workplace overdose prevention, ACCESS grant implementation, and ORP‑related initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and program logistics. Serve as the primary liaison to other departments, outside organizations, government agencies, and product representatives to promote effective and efficient operation and use of resources. Provide guidance and direction to personnel engaged in projects to ensure compliance with protocols and overall objectives.

- Oversee logistics for training and delivery, including overdose prevention, naloxone administration, workplace mental health, and harm reduction education.
