PositionSummary
The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience by providing exceptional administrative and clerical support to physicians, patients, and the clinical team. This position ensures the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the practice while delivering professional, compassionate customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional front‑office support by greeting patients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate daily administrative operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining provider calendars, and supporting meetings and office workflows.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient practice operations while maintaining accurate records and assisting with general administrative functions.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
