Position: Board of Public Works Coordinator (Administrator I)

Board of Public Works (BPW) Coordinator (Administrator I)

Office of Procurement and Materials Management, BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, Baltimore/Washington International. This role provides administrative support to the Director and Deputy Director, and serves as the primary liaison for regulatory and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end development of BPW agenda items, including preparing, reviewing, editing, and formatting contract documentation.
  • Request, verify, and approve contract documentation; manage payment and performance bonds, process tax verifications and contract affidavits, and ensure compliance with Minority Business Enterprise participation forms.
  • Develop and compile comprehensive presentation packages for the BPW Review group and upcoming BPW meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level briefings to the Office of Procurement and Materials Management Director and MAA Executive Leadership.
  • Prepare reports on contracts approved by the BPW as requested by MAA Executive team or MDOT.
  • Respond to inquiries from contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other parties regarding projects, contract documents, schedules, and procurement procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school graduation or high school equivalency certificate.
  • Four years of administrative or professional work experience, including at least one year managing BPW agenda items.
  • Substitutions: 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of required experience (up to four years), possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or U.S. Armed Forces military service experience involving staff work related to rules, regulations, policies, procedures or overseeing unit operations.
Licenses & Certifications

Must possess a valid Maryland motor vehicle operator’s license if assigned duties requiring motor vehicle operation.
