Administrative Assistant (HR Support)
Location: Baltimore, MD (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Duration: Contract through December 2026 (starting ASAP)
Pay Rate: $26–$30/hour
OverviewOur client, a top organization in the Baltimore area, is seeking a highly polished and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and can manage time-sensitive and confidential information with discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring strict confidentiality
- Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and coordinating logistics
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, preparing candidate materials, and communicating with applicants
- Manage and organize sensitive HR data, files, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and assist with departmental events or trainings
- Respond to internal HR inquiries and provide professional support to employees across the organization
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, reporting, and document preparation
- Assist with time-sensitive projects and special assignments requiring urgency and precision
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting HR or a related function
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Professional, polished demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Sharp, professional, and highly reliable
- Thrives in a structured onsite environment
- Demonstrates strong judgment when handling personal and sensitive information
- Comfortable managing shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
