Administrative Assistant (HR Support)

Location: Baltimore, MD (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Duration: Contract through December 2026 (starting ASAP)

Pay Rate: $26–$30/hour

Overview

Our client, a top organization in the Baltimore area, is seeking a highly polished and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and can manage time-sensitive and confidential information with discretion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring strict confidentiality
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and coordinating logistics
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, preparing candidate materials, and communicating with applicants
  • Manage and organize sensitive HR data, files, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and assist with departmental events or trainings
  • Respond to internal HR inquiries and provide professional support to employees across the organization
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, reporting, and document preparation
  • Assist with time-sensitive projects and special assignments requiring urgency and precision
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting HR or a related function
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Professional, polished demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
