Introduction
The Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families (DVMF) was created by the State Legislature in 1999 as an executive agency with the mission of assisting veterans, active duty service members, their families and dependents, in securing benefits earned through military service. Under the direction of the Service Program Director, will assist the Baltimore office and 17 remote locations throughout the program.

The main purpose of this job is to provide administrative; secretarial, clerical, and technical support to the Service Program to include the main office and 14 remote locations throughout Maryland.
POSITION DUTIES- Provide clerical support to the Baltimore Office.
- Maintain Services Offices.
- Directs Office Secretaries for Remote locations
- Scan and uploads Claims and Documents
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
Four years performing secretarial work or clerical work involving typing duties.
Notes:
- Customer service experience
- Experience regularly handling sensitive and confidential information
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software applications

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSDemonstrated ability to accurately type on a keyboard on a personal computer at a minimum of forty words per minute may be required, depending on the specific requirements of the position.
