Responsibilities

We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to our front office team at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital at Mercy, a busy and patient-focused orthopedic practice. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast‑paced environment where your communication and customer service skills will truly make a difference in the patient experience.

  • Greet and check-in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient messages efficiently

    Handle patient registration and verify insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Monitor and manage provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Sort and distribute incoming faxes and documents appropriately
  • Assist patients with FMLA and disability paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, organized front office space
  • Provide exceptional service and support to patients and visitors
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education and

Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one year experience, preferrably in a medical office setting.

USD $21.98/Hr.

Max

USD $36.27/Hr.
