Position: Customer Service Representative Job in Baltimore, MD | Robert Half

Customer Service Representative

If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy a role that keeps you moving—this could be the opportunity for you!

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a busy operations team in Baltimore and work 10AM-6PM with some weekend shifts as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service and administrative work but doesn't want to sit behind a desk doing the same thing all day.

In this role, you'll combine data entry, documentation, record review, vehicle inspections, photography, inventory tracking, and communication to ensure vehicles entering the facility are accurately documented and processed.

You'll be part of a structured, team-oriented operation where accuracy matters, reliability is valued, and there is opportunity to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You may be a great fit for this opportunity if you:

  • Have customer service, administrative, clerical, data entry, or records experience
  • Are extremely detail-oriented and take pride in getting the details right
  • Are comfortable reviewing paperwork, reports, and documentation for accuracy
  • Have strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Are comfortable entering information into computer systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Can confidently communicate with customers, coworkers, law enforcement personnel, and other stakeholders
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • Don't mind a role that combines desk work with hands-on activity
  • Are comfortable walking through an impound lot and inspecting vehicles
  • Can identify and accurately record information such as VIN, license plate, make, model, color, year, and mileage
  • Have a good eye for detail when documenting vehicle condition, damage, property, and other identifying information
  • Are dependable, professional, and comfortable following established procedures
  • Can work independently while also being a strong team player

Prior impound, automotive, towing, law enforcement, insurance, claims, records, or fleet experience is a plus—but is not required. We're especially interested in candidates with strong administrative and customer service skills who are eager to learn the operation.

This is a stable opportunity with a well-established operation and the chance to build valuable experience across customer service, administration, records management, inventory, and operations.

If you're someone who is reliable, observant, organized, comfortable working with people, and takes ownership of your work, we'd love to hear from you.

If you're looking for a role where every day is a little different, your attention to detail makes a real impact, and there is room to grow—this could be the opportunity for you.
