Automotive Service Manager

Combining in-depth automotive repair knowledge with people skills, this position manages customer relationships and serves as a liaison between technicians and customers. Responsibilities include selecting, coaching, leading, training, and supervising vehicle technicians, as well as assisting with the purchase of parts, materials, and equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem-solving skills, especially with customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong teammate and customer communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians and general service teammates.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Completion of all current BSRO store education courses & modules required for this position.
• Valid automotive driver’s license for testing vehicles.
