Automotive Repair Technician

We are looking to hire an experienced Automotive Technician (Real Mechanic) for an available full-time position. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic with proven abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, including the ability to swap engines and transmissions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair timelines, and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, trends, and repair techniques.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Must be able to swap engines and transmissions.
• Must be punctual and disciplined.
• Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or ASE certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Auto Repair Technician.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proven skills as a real mechanic with the ability to swap engines and transmissions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
