Position: Procurement Financial Analyst
Department: Procurement/Supply Chain

Employment Type: Full-Time Contracted
Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented temporary Procurement Financial Analyst who supports the procurement department by analyzing purchasing data, monitoring vendor performance, and evaluating procurement processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost effectiveness. This role focuses on reporting, forecasting, process improvement, and decision support to assist leadership with informed sourcing and spending decisions during the assignment period.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement
- Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Monitor contract usage, pricing compliance, and vendor performance against established agreements
- Review purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts for accuracy and policy compliance
- Support sourcing initiatives, bid evaluations, and vendor selection processes
- Assist in budget forecasting and demand planning related to procurement activities
- Maintain and validate procurement databases and records
- Prepare management summaries and recommendations based on data analysis
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and documentation requests
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows
- Stay current on procurement best practices, market conditions, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain analysis, purchasing, or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
- Experience with ERP, procurement, or financial systems preferred
- Ability to communicate data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in public sector or regulated procurement environments
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Knowledge of contract management and sourcing strategies
- Data-driven decision making
