Venture Capital Fund Analyst — Data, Reports & Strategy

Position Overview

The Analyst of Step Stone in Owings Mills will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Investment Team. This primarily includes helping to maintain the fund’s internal database, data collection/processing, and data entry.

• Data entry and back filling of underlying fund-related information
• Helping to maintain the fund’s internal database
• Database queries to support the investment team needs on an ad hoc basis
• Debriefing senior management related to fund information
• Collaborates with key stakeholders on implementation of strategic and business development needs
• Synthesizes and prepares PowerPoint presentations for analytical initiatives
• Perform other ad hoc projects, which may reflect the broader needs of the Firm such as fundraising, marketing and compliance

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage varied tasks
