Position: Transit Asset Management Analyst I

Project Coordinator/Asset Management Support

As a Project Coordinator/Asset Management Support professional, you will play a key role in supporting technical teams through project coordination, asset management activities, reporting, and administrative functions throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for supporting asset management system activities, including Maximo implementation, data entry, record maintenance, and compliance tracking.

You will assist in monitoring asset performance through dashboards and key metrics such as uptime, outages, mean time between failures (MTBF), response times, and service-level agreement (SLA) compliance. The ideal candidate can validate contractor-reported data, maintain accurate asset records, and support monthly performance reporting, KPI tracking, and trend analysis. You will contribute to contractor performance evaluations by preparing supporting data, reports, and visualizations, while helping identify trends related to asset reliability, lifecycle risks, outages, and service gaps.

Additionally, you will maintain organized project documentation, coordinate schedules and deliverables, support technical editing and report preparation, and conduct field inspections to verify asset conditions and ensure data accuracy. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills who can effectively manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with project teams to support the successful delivery and long-term performance of critical infrastructure assets.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepares and maintains project plans, tracks project progress, and prepares reports for clients or project stakeholders including evaluation scores, and deliverable tracking of submittals and reviews. Monitors and evaluates project timeline and activity and delivers updates to protect team.
  • Assists in the management, maintenance, and distribution of project schedules in applicable software.
  • Monitors, tracks, and files large amounts of project documentation. Uploads and downloads deliverable documents to and from client systems. Copies and/or scans project-related documents and coordinates the distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports the project and/or office quality plan and quality management system by documenting the performance of management and quality control reviews. Generates and updates the relevant QA/QC documentation and assists with the development and maintenance of the project filing structure.
  • Coordinates project meetings including calendar scheduling, preparing or creating materials, publishing minutes, and maintaining documentation.
  • Communicates basic issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or
  • Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related degree. or
    In lieu of education, 4 years Asset Management or related experience

What We Prefer:

  • 2 years of experience working within a transit industry government agency as a consultant.

Locations:

Baltimore, MD

The approximate pay range for Maryland is $26.70 - $40.05. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.

The approximate nation wide pay range for this position is $25.43 - $47.68. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
