About the Role:
  • The Operations Coordinator will support the Operations Managerin taking on tasks to support the orderly and efficient management of the Community Violence department. Of special concentration for the Operations Coordinator will be overseeing the hiring process for the Community Violence programs per national standards. The Coordinator will also supportpurchasing, billing, and administrative tasks. The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day operations are executed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for two (2) Cure Violence Interventionprograms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and public safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate operations across six (6) Safe Streets sites and two (2) hospital-based program locations.
  • Provide operational support and coordination for 42 program staff, including Violence Interrupters, Outreach Workers, and site leadership.
  • Support staffing functions in partnership with Human Resources, including onboarding, offboarding, scheduling, and personnel tracking.
  • Coordinate and support hospital-based violence intervention services, including oversight of eight (8) hospital responders to ensure timely, trauma-informed responses.
  • Serve as liaison between hospital partners and community-based program staff to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.
  • Manage logistics and administrative functions, including purchase orders, vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and supply distribution across all program sites.
  • Oversee facility and equipment needs, including maintenance requests, safety compliance, and site readiness.
  • Assist with data tracking, audits, and reporting deadlines in coordination with leadership.
  • Serve as a central point of communication between program leadership, site staff, hospital partners, and external vendors.
  • Coordinate and support staff meetings, leadership briefings, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist with planning and execution of community outreach events, violence prevention initiatives, and program activities.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges across multiple sites, including staffing coverage, facility issues, and urgent program needs
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience
