McKnight International is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support infrastructure, transportation, aviation, engineering, construction, capital improvement, and technology‑related programs throughout Maryland.
This role is responsible for managing contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle, including contract review, administration, compliance monitoring, financial coordination, risk assessment, change management, and stakeholder communications. The Contract Manager will work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, finance teams, legal representatives, and executive leadership to ensure contractual obligations are effectively managed and organizational objectives are achieved.
The ideal candidate combines strong contract management expertise with financial acumen, risk management capabilities, and experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, transportation, aviation, or consulting environments.
The individual hired will represent McKnight International while supporting contract administration, compliance, financial oversight, stakeholder coordination, and operational excellence across a variety of infrastructure and consulting programs.
Requirements Leadership Scope- Lead contract administration activities across multiple projects and programs
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related matters
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, contractors, finance personnel, and executive leadership
- Facilitate contract reviews, negotiations, modifications, and closeout activities
- Support organizational compliance and risk management initiatives
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and sound contract management practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Operate within a fast-paced environment where compliance, financial performance, and contract execution are critical
- Review, interpret, administer, and monitor contracts throughout the contract lifecycle
- Manage agreements, task orders, work authorizations, amendments, and contract modifications
- Maintain contract documentation, records, and tracking systems
- Ensure contractual obligations are communicated and executed appropriately
- Support contract closeout and documentation requirements
- Analyze contract terms, conditions, deliverables, schedules, and financial provisions
