- Review solicitation requirements for completeness and compliance, identifying and escalating concerns
- Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
- Support proposal kickoff meetings with contractual and cost-related input
- Collaborate with business analysts, program managers, and procurement teams on compliant proposal submissions
- Provide input into cost narratives and financial documentation
- Participate in negotiating contract terms
- Assist with standard teaming agreements and confidentiality agreements
- Administer contracts according to organizational policies and compliance requirements
- Monitor contractor performance against terms and conditions and elevate issues
- Support resolution of contract-performance disputes
- Assist with contract transaction closeout
- Organize and maintain contract files, databases, and documentation
- Assist with receipt and dissemination of deliverables
- Submit documentation for Government consent and/or advance notification packages
- Apply procurement policies and procedures to ensure proper funding allocation
- Collaborate with business analysts and program/project management to resolve funding and invoice matters
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, or related academic field
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience in contract administration, negotiation, and compliance, with a focus on government contracting
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and other applicable regulations
- Proficiency in contract management systems and basic financial analysis tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Employee background check required
- Preferred:
Professional certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) - Preferred:
Familiarity with contract management systems such as Costpoint - Preferred:
Experience supporting proposal development and contract negotiations in a government contracting environment - Preferred:
Knowledge of emerging technologies in contract management, such as automated tools or analytics platforms
Demonstrates expertise in contract administration, negotiation, and compliance within government contracting, with a strong focus on federal acquisition regulations and effective collaboration across teams. Proficient in managing contract files and financial documentation while ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
