The Assistant Director of Energy Analysis and Planning (Program Manager II) at the Maryland Public Service Commission identifies energy planning issues and recommends policy changes to support the Commission's regulatory oversight of utilities. The position also involves serving as an expert witness before the Commission and assisting the Division Director.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Policy, or related field
- Four years of experience performing legal, utility, energy, engineering, or economic policy analysis
- Two years of experience working on energy planning issues
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with statistical analysis, econometrics, and economic modeling software
